The charming rural surroundings offer a wealth of interesting day trip destinations: Discover the romantic Loreley Valley by steam boat, stroll along the educational wine trail, or explore the region by bicycle along well-constructed cycle paths. A trip by "Hunsrückbahn" train along viaducts and tunnels is a real experience. Here you can travel through one of the most beautiful areas of Germany while ascending one of its steepest stretches of mountain railtrack not to use a cog railway system. Keen golfers will get their money's worth at the 18-hole golf course "Jakobsberg" which lies some 10 kilometres away.

If you expect to arrive on a Wednesday or after 22:00 any day, you must contact the hotel in advance. You can check in using the hotel's check-in machine, located beside the main entrance.
